USB Hub with a PC

If I use a USB hub and plug say a keyboard, mouse and camera with microphone into then hub, if I use them all at the same time will they all work as they should or will I get interference between them and "glitches" does anybody know?

If this is a laptop, then perhaps consider a docking station, that way it will provide an Ethernet port as well and the ability to have multiple screens. But if a USB Hub is what you are looking for then I agree that any powered USB hub would do. I would suggest looking into Anker brand.

Cheers for the replies ... it's me kind of planning ahead with a new machine at some stage and considering if a Mini PC may be suitable as they don't tend to have as many USB ports as towers and if there's a work around as I use quite a lot of ports for various things.

I never knew until reading the replies there was such as thing as a powered USB hub, I'm guess that means that one USB port on a computer can handle data from multiple sources but the one 5v supply gets too diminished to power several things .... have I understood that correctly?

I've been using one of these for a few years, easiest solution to put all of your accessories on
