What is it your trying to do exactly? Do all your devices support USB 2 or 3? ... or 1...

yeah it is supported but you see my pc was located behind my small computer table because it was just to big to fit in, in order to easily insert a portable hard drive i need a usb extension cord and a usb hub plug into it.
