USB Logitech headset w/ mic not working win7.

The logitech headset w/ mic works only through the direct audio jacks, and it won't work with the USB adapter that combines the mic jack / headset jack. So I have to disconnect the speaker jack to plug in the heaset to it. Not a big deal, but extra hassle.

I'm running win7 64x. Realtech HD audio. The system dectects when I plug in the USB, but nothing. Any ideas. thx.
 
Try plugging the headset in and go to playback devices which can be found by right clicking on the volume icon in bottom right of screen (where the time and date is).While the head set is plugged in, set it as the default device for playback.
