USB Mass Strorage Help!

Hi All =]

I've a problem =[

Running On Windows 2000 SP4, I've a microsoft USB Mouse that works quite happily.

When plugging in a Cruzr SanMicro 2GB Memory stick, the mouse is unresponsive and doesnt work, however the memory stick does.

So, any ideas why and how to fix it?

PS. Both mouse and stick have worked fine in the past before

Can you try other USB ports? It may be that when using both the drive and the mouse, the devices are trying to draw too much power from your older USB controllers can give out. So if you have USB on the front and back, you can try using doing that.

I've tried that but still no luck, the mouse light goes off when I connect the USB Pen so could it be a lack of power? Or just no driver?

Try installing with cd

Try installing the storage device with the cd provide with the device it will surely help you and still it does not apply then you can contact us on your website .. we will surely help you .. computer help
 
Possibley an underpowered computer if you have any idea what the powersupply is ??? what else are you running on it??
