my bros gateway mouse stop working but will light up, i tryed putting my usb mouse in and it doesnt work or light up.
 
So if I got this correct, each mouse in the same usb port and they both won't work? Then your usb port is dead, unless both your mice don't work. Try another usb port on the computer and see if they work there.
