Usb Mouse Will Not Work

How do you install a USB mouse over an old PS2 mouse. I unistalled the old drivers...restarted...plugged in the new wireless USB mouse, went step by step in the manual, installed the driver and restarted (removed the PS2 mouse). Now the driver is installed 4 sure, but the mouse simply does not repsond. I tried using the USB to PS2 converter supplied but to no avail. Have any odf you come across this problem?

This one's a dead mouse for sure. I went over to where they tried it form and they concluded that it was dead. I am getting a replacement soon. Thanx Praetor :).

Make sure that the Device Manage shows that the odl mouse is uninstalled and make sure your USB drivers are installed, if that doesnt work, return it.

I had to return it. And even in the shop, they tested it and it failed to communicate with the radio station :). Ok I hope the next one will be cool.
