USB Not Recognized in Windows 7

Well I have finally done it I have done my first self build (Well partly, Motherboard bundle) the problem is I have a PCI USB Card that Win 7 does Not recognize, if I plug anything in it simply will not work. Is there a way for it to wok or is it a lost cause. Any help in sorting this will be much appreciated, it will be good if it does work as t means I will have a total of 12 USB Ports (8 on the back and Four Front).
 
I must admit I hav'nt but I don't remember getting drivers when I brought it, if I remember I installed the card and windows recognised it
 
Check the make/model and see if there are drivers to download off their website. Not sure why it wouldnt work this time around though, thats odd. Were you using a different operating system before? If so - it might be that the cards "plug and play" feature is designed for the operating system you were using before. (just a wild guess)
 
The card was a no name make from pc world possibly there own, I am kinda thinking along the lines that it is a lost cause my previous pc was running xp. I may have a look and see if I can get another card.
 
Yealooked in there it seems to show up, drivers all ok etc I'm guessung its the card.Any way I ave brought a new one now.
I am having another problem though that I know is an easy fix but I can't think how to do it right now. I have 3 hard drives in my system one of which is partitioned into 3 I need to unpartition it so I have just one big Drive, how do I go about this using Windows 7.
