HI
can someone help?????
i have just fitted a internal usb port but where do i connect it on to the board?.

it has a 8 pin square plug at the end of wire please help?

Look around and you should see a little header for it on the board. Usally it says something around it like USB1 or something like that... If you have a manual for your board, check in there. It should have what all the headers are for on your mobo...

the most you'll get is 12v, that wont feel much different from a static shock

Before you plug you cables to the m/b, make sure the sytem is unplugged, push the switch on the psu to off, and hold down the power button for 5 seconds. You should be good to go.

thanks for all the advice!

turns out that the cables on the plug were wrongly put in line, rearrranged and im online with extra USB ports!!!!!
