So i bought this really good computer from the a computer store for 80 bucks only problem is that the usbs dont work so i thought maybe drivers maybe something wrong with bios so i thought i could look into it if anything i can buy a usb card plug in a usb hub and id be set but i want it to work right so for now i have my PS/2 for my keyboard plug into it and it works the graphics work and everything else so this is how it goes
If i install a fresh copy of windows 7 usbs dont work so i tried ubuntu... same result.
Weird part i installed Ubuntu off of my usb junk drive meaning the bios registers the usb but for some reason the os refuses to use the usb so i was thinking maybe driver but between Windows and Ubuntu one of them should be able to load the correct drivers for the computer so if anyone had any tricks they may know to diagnose this PLZ LET ME KNOW TY
Oh and i even reset the bios to original settings and reset the CMOS
Ty for your time
**UPDATE**
It turns out the my usb flash drive registers but i can get a keyboard or mouse to work
**UPDATE**
Also the usb flash drive if in when computer is turned on than it works but when on if you unplug the usb and plug it back in then it wont register to mean it seems like a driver problem but i already checked the drivers
