Have you seen this before - is that crazy or what?!

For the price though.. is it really worth it? When you can get a batter charger for ~$10usd and then batteries at $1 or so each online? I remember seeing these on thinkgeek awhile back....

If price is not an issue, some people will find these really convenient, as opposed to carrying a bulky charger. And I wouldn't be so sure the price is that high. These are NiMh, which from the sound of their sales copy, sounds better than conventional NiCad - which is probably what you get for $1.

So its more like $1.10 each, but meh.. But as far as AAA's go i got like 20 of them from atomicmods for like $0.80 each(1000mah nimh) when i was really into XMods.

I used to be into XMods... I used Energizer Lithium batteries and found those to be best. I hated rechargeable batteries. Of course, once I dropped in the new motor, it would run any battery set dead in a couple minutes.

Yeah, i had one of those motors from atomicmods that would run on the stock FET's, the 1000mah AAA's lasted me a good 10-12min of runtime. I almost bought a V2(hooks to to the original motor outputs and battery inputs and regulated the voltage to it, and allowed you to run lipo batteries and whatnot, allowing you to run higher powered motors without stacking fet's) board and lipo batteries to run a higher amperage, but then i kinda got bored with xmods.

NO WAII!, i wanit itt!, it should come with a AAA version where you can pop on/off the usb charger, this would be haven for my wireless mouse.
