usb stop working

help, one of my front usb port (case) stop working, tehre 2 usb front port, and one of them only works, both of them used to work fine till my dog chew on my keyboard wire, and my computer brought up error on usb and ever since that time my usb cant seem to recognize any device connected to it. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks

Hmm, your dog might have shifted the USB port, like bent it or something.

To me that sounds like your dog chewed something and shorted something else. Last time my E500 laptop fell, and the USB port was pushed in. The internal USB plastic piece broke, and it shorted the port and the USB wireless out...
