usb turning on computer

wow, i am useing gigabyte99xs mobo and when it is swithed off ,if i unplug
any usb device it turns computer on?? i also have a new build with asus
m5a97 mobo and it does the same thing-any explanations or does the law of
physics cease to exist in my domain

Check the power settings and be sure USB Wake isn't enabled.

if it's power settings -advanced usb settings- change to disable from
enable- i will do it and see what happens, thank you again

tried everything/ hibernate off/ usb wake off/and it still does it
oh well, i'll keep disableing until it stops

Check the bios, you may have a setting in there to power on usb
