D DSG New Member Jan 9, 2009 #1 I re-configured? my Gateway computer and now my HP C4180 scanner will not work. Tech support at HP says it's the USB ports--only one seems to be working since the mouse only works when I am plugged into it. ???? How do I fix the USB ports?

A azwebs New Member Jan 9, 2009 #2 Could you be a little more specific? Model of the laptop, how old it is, what operating system and some basic specs? They can usually be found from Welcome Center (on Vista) or from right click My Computer > Properties (on XP and Vista).
