usb's will not display.

I have a hp pavilion, 64 bit win10 home ver 1607

the flash drives will not show on screen unless you go to disk mgt and click open.
 
Do some general cleanup on your system. Run Ccleaner and malwarebytes to remove any junk you have. So are you saying the drive doesn't appear in windows explorer? If not, then do the cleanup procedure. I've came across this many times and once I do a cleaning they appear.
 
Sounds like it may not be formatted, which is why it shows in disk management but not as a usable drive in Explorer. Can you format it in disk management?
