use of a dongle

HI,

This is my first post here.

I've bought an ANDROID 10" netbook from an internet company from CHINA.

I believe my internet dongle isn't compatible with this, but I'd like to check with you before I sell this computer.

The compatible dongles listed in the appendix of the instructions are -

HAUWEI - E220, 230, 160X, 169G, 1750, 173, 153, and W8.

My dongle is HAUWEL E3231 and isn't listed.

Can my dongle still be used ? The instructions talk about buying a 3G card according to China Telecom.

If I can use this dongle I need to type in "secret codes" into the "add 3G network" dialogue boxes ! What would they be ?

I can't say whether that dongle will work with that tablet or not but for you to know what "secret codes" you need to enter into the "add 3G network" dailogs you will need to contact the cellular data provider for your dongle.
 
Normally a dongle needs software and drivers to work. If you had a mobile wifi hotspot then you'd be all set.
