Hi guys,
I had a netbook and it's now dead. I was using it at school when a (fat) girl passed by the table I was sitting at and her belly kinda hit my netbook and made it fall on the ground.
However, she started to cry, and I couldn't yell at her. I kinda know her and she has no money, so I knew she couldn't repay me for it. Since I have another computer and another laptop, it's not the end of the world for me, so I let it go.
So, I decided to take it apart and see what parts I could reuse for a project. I built my own desktop computer a few months ago, I loved it, and it's still working perfectly. And like pretty much every computer builder, I guess, I kinda want to build another computer for fun, hahaha.
So, I managed to save... the screen (10 inch), and that's pretty much it, hahaha, I also have the hard drive, but it looks damaged.
So, I was thinking about buying a motherboard, nothing big (with integrated graphics), a power supply, and a new hard drive and build myself a nice little pc. I kinda want to make it look like a cube, or something like that.
My knowledge is, however, limited. I can build a desktop pc, but so does pretty much everybody else. It's not difficult. However, building a pc from SCRATCH, like without a case, is another story.
First, the screen connector. I havent seen anything like that before. There is just a little cable going out of the lcd screen and it has a 20 pin connector to it. How do I connect that thing to a motherboard?
Should I buy a netbook motherboard? (THe netbook model was Toshiba NB200)
Do you have advice to give me?
Thanks in advance
