Useing My DVD Burner

Can I copy Front Page files for back-up to a DVD or does it have to be a cd.

My DVD recorder says R/RW

I tried it to a DVD-R, the files seem to be on it? but I can't open them up in Front Page. I copied them to a floppy and was able to open them up in Front Page...

Of course you can use a DVD. The question is why use such large media when the files could probably fit on a disk(assuming you mean DVD-Rs )
