Useing two different video cards on 1 pc

I am currently running a nvidia quadro on two 24" widescreen monitors

My question is:

if i buy a different video card a geforce) can i install it onto my computer as well as the quadro and have one of my monitors running from the quadro for graphics and the other monitor running from the geforce so i can play games on that monitor?
Will the mouse still jump across monitors?

**NOTE** i dont want to run these cards in SLI i just want one for gaming and 1 for graphics.

Yes you can run two different cards as long as it is on two different monitors.
