user names and passwords?

How do i create a Username and password form on dreamweaver that allows users to access a webpage....sort of like facebook or myspace, but you cant register.....only log in

P.S. all i need is for them to choose a username from a list....then type their password and they're at their homepage

its database driven, most likely PHP and MySQL is your best bet

I am not a web developer, but there are tons and tons of PHP kits out there. In fact this forum is most likely ran off of a MySQL database, and is using a template PHP VB bulletin board forum.


I would check out some web developer forums, or ask a web developer on this forum.
