usiing Briefcase on windows 7 pro and network drive or usb drive

question about briefcase to sync directorys on the 2nd hd.
It says something about syncing and copying the briefcase to the other drive.
can this be done if i have windows 7 pro and the other is networked with xp and say home edition like on my Asus Eee?

Windows 7 and Windows XP briefcases are compatible, if that's what you're asking.

i will play with briefcase. never did. looking forward to it.

Sync is a biggie and will make my job easy without a lot of homework.
I think many have or not no about it syncing a backup.

Briefcase is very useful. Been using it on my fd, as I often edit files on other computers. Helps tremendously.
