Using a portable dvd player as a second monitor

Currently I have a Logik tv screen for use as a computer monitor, as well as a portable dvd player sat on my desk for watching movies while using the computer..

The dvd has 3 inputs on the side, a white named "Audio", a yellow "video/coaxial" and a black "S-Video". Would this be sufficient to connect my Geforce 8500GT to, and what cables etc would I require?

Also, I have an old AGP graphics card, with a large yellow circle connector (no idea what it's called) that could be simultaneously connected, is there a lead that could be used to connect to the dvd player from this socket.

Sorry for the vagueness but I have absolutely no idea what the connections are called.

Any relevant links/information would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Well that's obviously not standard... Sounds like that thing might have some sort of adapter that converts the plug. Well if you used RCA previously, whatever was used to connect to your player, I'm sure you could convert the output from your 8500 to RCA as well...
