Hi, ive got a wirless router/asdl modem, it has four LAN ports (RJ45) and a ADSL port (RJ11). My problem is that i want to use it as a wireless router only, on a normal wireless router (without the modem) it has four LAN ports (RJ45) and a internet port (also RJ45), which would be fine as i could take the output from the original modem and put it into the router. Although i cant do this on mine as it is also a modem and requires a RJ11 input. Can i do this with my router/modem or will i have to buy a wireless router on its own?
I have to keep the original modem in place for reasons which are not important and that is why i cannot jus replace the modem with the router/modem.
Any help would be much appriciated,
Thanks,
James
