Using a second modem as a booster

Hi,
Our original modem was in the house, new one was set up in the shop in front of our house, about 20 meters away.
Now we have good signal in the shop but sometimes weak in the house.
Is it possible to connect the original modem in the house to the new one and use it as a repeater ?

Sorry but I had to ask as I know little about the things, thanks.......

If ita an actual modem, no. If you are talking about as router, its possible depending on the router.

Thanks John, not sure what they are but they both have two small antennas for the wireless wifi so I imagine they are wireless wifi router repeaters ???
We have 2 types of signal for some reason, 2.4G and 5G.

That would mean its a dual band router. If you give me the model numbers, we can confirm what they actually are and if they are capable of being a repeater/extender. And there are ways around that especially if you can run an ethernet cable between 2 routers.

Sorry about the delay, been sidetracked.
My wife called the ISP and they are sending someone out to sort it out.
I will try my best to explain the problem to them but being Thailand I always seem to send the wrong message.
