Using another computer's resources?

Hi, I just realized I've had it with my computer and its CPU spiking during regular use (for me) and the occasional clean-out just isn't doing it justice. I was wondering, we have another computer, (relatively old) that we don't use anymore.. is there a way I could connect it on a network and steal its resources and use them on this computer?
 
no, it's not possible. If it is compatible though, you can take the ram out of the older computer, and put it in the new one.
 
It is possible but not the likes which you hope it works. You can create a cluster and distribute jobs to it, but it doesn't work like you think.
