Using Kazaa for non-illegal purposes

Has anyone tried using Kazaa or similar programs for other stuff than downloading music and movies (which is illegal, damn you!)? Is it worth searching for text documents, animal noises or program patches, or can you search for that stuff just to make it seem more legal?

Yes, of course you can search for legal stuff, thats why they are still in business.

If you must use a P2P software use limewire.. or something other than Kazaa.

Yes, I use Bittorrent to download Linux isos sometimes. I think it is the way forward, on some websites it is the recommended way that you can download 3-4 gig at speed, since you aren't putting stress on their servers. The downloaders with the bandwidth are able to then upload it as well so the sharing of files becomes faster.

Most of the nonillegal crap on Kazza can be found via other, faster, more effective means usually :)
