Using portable apps Firefox - does it leave surf history on PC?

Hello,

I'm just starting to use the portable Firefox on my USB drive, and it works great when I'm not at home and on a public computer.

Does the portable browser leave any information about the websites I go to on my host computer or its browser (usually IE).

This is so if I check my bank account info online or my credit cards, that info is not deposited where people can get access to them.

If I had credit cards and bank account info I would never check it on a public computer. You never know if they have a keylogger on there.
