Using Windows 8

Hi folks,

I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 660 which came with windows 8. I am not sure if it's just me, but I feel as if the web browsing isn't as fast as it could be?

I am using chrome and at times I jump to FF, but I have also read that IE 10 is best for windows 8?

at times I just feel as if it lags. Even when I open up multiple tabs it is just thinking. It is really annoying.

Would anyone who uses this operating system help me solve this problem?

Have you run speed tests to check what kind of broadband speeds you get ?

Could be your DNS, but that ping looks pretty good. Are you on a wireless connection?

yes, I currently am connected through wifi. I could connect with Ethernet since the router is right next to me.

I was just looking at the DNS and used put 8.8.8.8 + 8.8.4.4 under IPv4

I also see IPv6 available.

Wow, that second result has fairly high ping. Try connecting with Ethernet and run the test again.
