2gb even on Vista has worked out quite well here. That includes some gaming tossed in at times along with other projects. After reinstalling Windows lately on different drives while working iwith a beta program it actually takes XP longer to get to the desktop then seen with Vista. And Vista is the one currently seen with everything back on.
