VAIO Touch Screen or 3D Computer

Im in Boston atm, summer. Ive been visiting a particular sony store almost every day and i have fallen in love with the VAIO All in One tuch screen. Amazing offer are going to be given on july 4. I love to play games on pc console. I want to enjoy the latest game at the highest resolution possible. my budget is below 1300$. a New VAIO touch screen have come out today or yesterday, with a much better processor but its price is doubled, 2000$ and thats a big problem.

This is the spec of the current VAIO Touch screen im really considering:
-intel core 2 duo e7500 processor(2.93ghz)
-genuine windows 7 home premium 64bit
-24.0 widescreen(1920x1080) touch display
-blu-ray disc optical drive and a 500GB HDD
-4GB ram and integrated NATSC/ATSC TV Tunners
Tackle virtually any graphics requirement with a NVIDIA® GeForce® G210M GPU and 512MB of dedicated video RAM.
13000$ and probly will go down few 100s on july 4

The link abovee shows the compute i want This is the computer of my dreams and i wish to know, will it make me happy? will i be able to play games and enjoy its increadible resolution? i looked up the graphic card info and its one of the toppest, its i7 core, i do not see anything bad with this system and why it would run crysis 2, FEAR,global agenda, etc...

IF YOU really think this is not good for me, please i beg you, feel free to recommend me any computer/all in one pc below 1350$

3D is just sick, and i cant imagine playing games on 3D. IT would be a whole new expirience for me. Anyone recommend me to buy one of those? will it make me happy considering my standards and what im looking for :)? Any recommendation?


Please dont recommend me to built my own computer, thats an option i cant take. I would love to create my godly pc but not this year or the next.
I REALLY APPRICIATE everyones help.

What do you want the touch screen for?
It looks very pretty but most of your $1400 will be paying for the vaio brand name and for the touch screen.

The screen does have nice resolution but there are many monitors out there with 1920*1080 that you can get for close to $200.

Also that core is not i7, not even close.

I dont know if it could run all those games you listed, but it certainly couldn't run them at very high settings.

In short, for that much money you could build a much nicer, more powerful system. The question is if you really want the touch screen, the all in one, and the sony brand.

I didnt know about the i7... Well I Definetley want 1920*1080. Touch screen really really attracts me, i enjoy using it. the all in one makes me fall in love with it. but this is driving me crazy, i dont understand why this amazing computer cant play games at high resolution??? Is it because of the processor installed?

As a trade off for being an all-in-one is it uses a lot of laptop parts. The video card for example. The processor also is not top of the line. These days, for a $1300 build you should have a quad core.

I don't know how this computer will run, but laptops and all-in-ones can certainly play demanding games. However, they are never going to compare to a desktop. And for $1300, you could get a very nice gaming desktop with an i5 or i7 core and a hd5850 or similar video card.

If you really are all about gaming I would considered a desktop, but if you love this all in one and you want a touch screen, by all means get it.

Have you consider building your own computer?
 
you really need to stop and think for a second. that computer will not be able to play most new games and all you will end up with is a touch screen laptop. just go with a desktop, i think you have become to obsesed over this.

Thank you very much for your post.I'm on my way to a different sony store and will check with this website:
Systemrequirmentslab.com how well it can handle a game,ill probably use as an option: global agenda. after that ill make my final decision. Ill take in consideration what you said :)

I know what you mean. I may be emphasizing the gaming partyt,but I've always been a fan of these type of systems. It reads blu ray, it has incredible features.some people may think I'm pushing it too far for this vaio all in one touch screen,but I just want to hear the good things. Ill malke my final decision today, if I go with this computer or not.

personally i think that you would be waisting your money. touch screen systems like this will be alot cheaper next year and soon will have little value.
your better off testing how well it copes with modern games, then decide if its good enough.

Well guys, thanks to you all and proof that the video card of the VAIO all in one touch screen is not enough to run games at DECENT resolution, i will not be making a big mistake. I have searched and found 4 options that i really like. My dad is looking at them atm and considering which is his budget for me :p

I really like these options from 1-4. 1 is the highest budget i could show my dad :p My final final decision I will post, so stick around, and thanks for everyone's post.
