Vaio Z Series -- Blu Ray and SSD incompatible?

I was playing with the configuring options with the new Z series, and it won't let you choose both Blu Ray and an SSD drive. Why in the world would these two be incompatible? I found a thread on a different forum, but they never really came up with an answer. What gives? Grr... I wanna have my cake and eat it too!

Are they sharing the same IRQs? Unlikely, but it happens.

A SSD drive should work. So should blu-ray, but it should be unlawful to put a blu-ray drive into a laptop as the resources needed to burn, let alone, read a BD would fry any laptop! Think of how many people would combust by watching a blu-ray movie? As a general rule of thumb, burning should not be done on a laptop without an external drive and proper resources.
