Vbulletin?

Hey how hard is Vbulletin software to use? I want make a forum like this, but about something totally different that is the total opposite of CF. Now mind you I have never tried any sort of programming or anything. Is this something I could learn on the fly or do you need to be a very fluent web designer or programmer?

You dont realy need to know programming or anything to make a forum.

Why not just go for a free forum like InvisionFree?

There good reliable forums and you can change the layout and customise it as you want.

Hmmmm I didnt know they existed, all the forums I belong to are Vbulletin and I like the out of it. Do you have any experience with InvisionFree?

Yes ive made 2 forums before but both of them were unsuccesfull due to innactivity so i shut them down.

With Invisionfree you dont have to do any Coding or anything...Its just simply sighn up and name your forum.

Then start creating the sections of the forum like for example...

General chat

Games/Consoles etc....

However you will need to do alot of advertising to get people to see your site and this is one of the reasons my forums was unsuccesfull is because i didnt have the time.
Invisionfree offers hundreds of places where you can advertise your forum though.

And there highly customisable.

EDIT: Just to note that Invisionfree doesnt need any software and they host the site for you.

You dont have to pay anything for the board as it is supported by ads...This may sound bad but it isnt.

They just stick one add at the top of the forum and thats it,They dont put any ads anywhere else.

Btw...I would give you a link to there site but dont know if its against the forum rules?
