most come with S-Video out, this is for displaying stuff on TV's and projectors and other things like that.... onyl a few selected ones have S-Video IN. So, yes, usually MPEG2 at either standard tv or standard dvd resolution (I think they're different for NSTC and PAL).magicman said:These cards input a composite or s-video connection, and encode it usually to mpeg video.
