Vcr to dvd

Do you have a capture card? You will need a video capture card of some sort to capture the video before you can use any type of software. If you end up purchasing one, look into one that has a built-in hardware MPEG2 encoder. Something like a WinTV PVR-150 captures directly to MPEG2 and can be burnt almost directly to DVDs with next to no conversions.
 
just curious that how are we supposed to play a vcr in a computer because the capture card will be in computer and will store captured video in hard drive is not it?
