7 days ago I formated, reinstalled XP and all drivers for my mom.
I did all updates also and the computer was working when I left her home.
The computer was NOT taken apart so I am very sure no cables came undone.
Today after 7 days, she called me up and stated that yesterday (day 6) she got a "Disk Read Error": Verifing DMI Pool Data Press Cont-Alt-Del.
Pressing the Cont-Alt -Del just takes her back into a loop back to the error message.
I am looking for some insight to what is wrong. I've loaded operating systems many times before so I really don't think it is a bad installation.
Advice please.
