I have a linskys wrgt etc. idisconnected it to try out a former verizon wireless router to my comcast modem internet for expiermentation. So igot into the verizon control panel and all i did was change ssid and password to my liking and click apply then took out comcast modem cable and hooked it up to the internet fitting on router then pulled out and put in power supply on verizon modem when i got to my wireless connections on my latop etc i seen my verizon ssid was in the profiles clicked on properties put in verizon wireless password. So i clicked on conect and it said you are now connected when i went to open up internet explorer and anything else , it said cannot display webpage i repaired and released and renewed ip to no avail

question was there something else in verizon control panel that i had to do

it was set at the 802 etc b g setting along with the new ssid name and password i even reset the comcast modem and that didnt work. strange
it says you are now connected when i go t oopen up the webpage it looks like its ready to open i see the www.google then it says cant find webpage on the second computer and the laptop. It worked on the computer that i had the modem hooked up directly to the verizon router i am able to get the linskys working on all 3 devices it just dont work on a verizon router 7500
its made that way not to work anybody got any answers

well for one, make your questions a bit easier to read!

Anyway, do you have a ethernet cable going to your computer, then to the router? or directly to the router, and then the first computer picks up the wireless siganl and successfully connects to the internet, allowing you browse?

If the first computer is working with wireless connection to the router, then tkae your other router, hook it up and see if your other computers work.

nobody has the answer

Yes the other computers work when i hook up the linskys router. When i hook up the verizon router then i go to my laptop it says you are now connected and then when i go to open up internet explorer or any other browser it says internet exploer cannot display webpage .But with the linskys router everything works Cables are all hooked up right I have the ethernet cable going from the modem to the e1 fitting on the verizon router and the cable coming from the computer going to the e2 and i am able t oconnect to the internet from the ist computer wherethe modem and router is physically connected to . As soon as i go to the 2nd computer even though also i have a cable hooked up to it also it wont go on the internet

its just that verizon sucks thats why nobody has a answer
