Very low FPS on some websites

A while back, I noticed some websites, specifically ones that use my GPU the most, are insanely laggy. It might be getting 5FPS on FlightRadar24, Google Maps, GeoFS, game websites, and stuff like that. I reinstalled my drivers and tweaked the settings in Chrome, but nothing seemed to work. I wonder if my GPU is dying. Some sites aren't as laggy as others, Maps might get 15 while GeoFS gets about 1FPS. Any ideas? (my GPU is an RX5500 btw, its my backup since my 6500XT died)

That leads me to my 2nd problem. Every time I install the software, it disappears. The install manager claims it was last the software was updated June 8th. Similar things happened to my 6500XT as it was dying as the drivers kept getting corrupted, as soon as I installed my 5500, it was perfectly fine. Therefore, I cant check the driver date but I assume it is the 8th.

The driver date and version will be here. Unless you are connected via onboard video port instead of video card or something is up with your motherboard, I can't see the same thing happening to a different video card.

Then it seems you have a major windows system issue going on then. So do this. Run command prompt as administrator. Type CMD in search box and find it in the list and then right click on that and click on run as admin. Then type the following and hit enter.

SFC /scannow

Note the space between the C and the /

This may take awhile so let it do its thing and come back to it after while. When done it should inform you if there was missing or corrupted system files and if it was able to fix all of them. I would need to see the screenshot of the message it gives you. It will look like this.

Looks like it did its thing, details open now. I'm going to reinstall the drivers and see if Adrenaline will download too now.

Well, I downloaded the software and nothing changed. I could try to use my backup card for my backup card... my GTX770. Or switch back to my failing 6500XT.

Have you tried using different web browsers? Scanned for malware using Malwarebytes?

Have you tried using the bottom pcie slot for the video card? Just pulling at strings here.

Edge works fine, but im not using that. I tried uninstalling Chrome to reinstall it, but when I go to uninstall it, I get this message:

I just upgraded to Windows 11 from 10 just a few months ago, so I doubt its any major issues

Use revo uninstaller to get rid of chrome and then use edge to download a fresh chrome install file.

Get latest version of chrome here.

Thats not always the case, upgrades can and will go wrong.

It worked! I did have to resort to the offline Chrome installer... we won't talk about what happened there. I appreciate the help!
