Very odd HDD experiment

Ok well my backup HDD start making clicking sounds the other day. I really didnt care much since it was a backup drive so I was just gonna buy a new HDD. I didnt give it much thought but since it was a broken drive there wasnt anything I could do to make the situation worse so I googled to see if there were any solutions on fixing a crashed drive. It seems that throwing it in the freezer for a few hours is a very popular way of recovering a hard drive. This seemed fun but right now its 3 AM so I dont feel like waiting 2-3 hours. I threw it in one of those big deep freezers that are much colder than your conventional freezer. I gave it about 20 mins in. I just now pulled it out and HOLY CRAP IT WORKS.....kinda since it was only in there for 20 mins i figured I didnt put it in long enough but it stopped clicking and my comp made the "device connected" noise but after about 10-15 seconds it did the disconnected sound but this was PROGRESS. So I'm gonna throw it in there until I wake up in the morning. What do yall think is gonna happen?

The freezer fix is designed only to recover the drive for long enough to copy important data off it, not to keep it permenantly. By all means give it a shot, but you'll need a new drive anyway.

If 20 minutes in the freezer let the drive boot successfully, leaving it overnight may give you enough time with the drive to copy any data off it.

well overnight didnt do much, it did the same as after leaving it in there for 20 mins last night. Oh well, all it was was backup data, ill just get a new hdd and do another backup on that.
