i am lookin into getting a new monitor i have a sony trinitron 15" now and it sux i was thinking of goin wit a crt sony cpd g520p is this a good monitor ?

You know, a link would be helpfull. Actually its a 20 inch. (minus the plastic surrounding the screen) 2048 x 1536!!! Ya, it's a good monitor. Nice resolution, refresh rate, make sure your card supports 2048 x 1536 resolution, lol. How much are you paying for it?

for gaming you want one with a low refresh rate, preferably 8ms or lower. cheaper monitors usaly have low refresh rates which causes motion blur.

yeh for gaming even a 12ms response time will be adequate. do u have a budget

i dont think such a high resolution is helpfull when playing games. a 6800 cant run bf2 on that resolution with med/low details..
