Hi there it seems that i have never ending problems but i finally am done and can start maybe helping others out even more....okay so i got a 2 new hard drives and for some reason my seagate barracuda 200 gb ide is so as .... the load times are really slow and i know it has to be the hard-drive because everything else has been tested in another computer so i have narrowed down the problem but i don't know what to do or how to speed it up i just bought new ide cables the 133 ones rounded so.....any1 know what else i can try?

it could be your Motherboard! it could only support old IDE versions!
just a guess... of course, i have two VERY well performing seagate barracudas myself, and i plan on getting the 500gb one it comes within my price range!

judging by the model of the motherboard listed i wouldn't say its a motherboard problem but maybe a config problem. check if the ide options are set to something like UDMA mode 5 or 133 depending on your bios. also, make sure that IDE prefetch is enabled in the bios
