very stuck on what card, please help

i am building a budget PC in a week basically to run FSX, it just came up, I know dont ask. I realize its not going to run the best, so please dont tell me. I have read a lot about this game and know that 2GB of RAM is a must, but I am wondering if i should go for a card that has 512 RAM or 256, does it matter? every site i have been to says that the card's RAM matters the most, so should I shoot for a card with higher RAM? i was looking at these: as you can tell, its a budget, so no more than 150, lower the much better

i think the ATI might be better because of more RAM, but the 7600 has better clocks. i dunno im stuck. which one? any other same priced suggestions?

(answer this after: would a 7900GS blow these away, even with 256 RAM)
 
im not an expert on this stuff but the ATI is DDR2 and and the 7600 is DDR3 so because the 7600's ram is DDR3 itll blow the ATI card away (from wuht ive heard atleast). RAM is also more for just having better framerates at higher resolutions. my 7900gt only has 256mb but i dont have any problems with it and yes a 7900gs would be better than both of them.
 
The second link in your first post is to a 7600GT :).

The memory shouldn't make too much of a difference. It's all about the graphics card. Either the 7900GS or X1900GT would fit the bill nicely.
 
omg...please dont get the ati X1600 it sux!!!! ypu better get the 7600 GT..lol. but seriously the 7600 gt is soo much better. ill post a link shortly
