Very weird Problem

Someone I know, has the following problems, I will try do describe it:

Everytimes she hits the following keys on the keyboards, the keys are o,p,k,l,.

Then the computer automaticlly writes a sign after the letter as though you have hit two keys even though you have not.

An example:
When you hit o, you get:
o*

You did not touch the '*' it just gets there.

I think it is because the keyboard is old and has some kind of a defect, another thing I think is a bit interesting is the fact that they keys are in the same area of they keyboard they are close to eachother.

I hope it makes sense to you, if not please tell me, and I will see what I can do about it.

Think ur friends keyboard is defective !, try testing another keyboard on the pc ! If that is the case she will have to get a new one or that one repaired !

Try using another keyboard. If the problem goes away, the keyboard is defective. If it doens't, it's a problem with the computer.
