VGA converter

Ok everybody so I need some help.
I am planning on getting an Acer x223w, 22" LCD monitor and i would like to use it for gaming. I have an xbox 360 and I wanna be able to hook it up to the monitor, but the monitor uses a VGA and is not the same hookups as the 360. I searched around for a converter and found a VGA to TV converter on Amazon for like $4.00. It seems like a good deal but I'm still not sure. This cable has a VGA connector on one end and both RCA Jack Video (TV) Out and S-Video Out connectors on the other end. Am I making the right move by purchasing the converter?
Thanks
~Ben

(P.S.) Here is the link for the converter on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/NEW-CONVERTER-S-VIDEO-CABLE-ADAPTER/dp/B000S675JU

My friend has this to hook up to his monitor.

If you can afford to shell out the cash on one of these I would. I converts the output from the back straight into a VGA output with the audio. It basically converts your yellow video cable into a VGA. Only problem is you need a computer or speaking system that has audio input jacks to take in the red and white composite cables.

As for your link, I'm not sure how S-video and composite compares to VGA.
