Should be fine. If you don't get the speed you want you could always try moving your PC or your router a bit.

I've got a 20 dollar USB dongle and it connects to downstairs when I'm up. 4 out of 5 bars normally.

Yeah they tend to work pretty well these days.

My USB dongle cost more than the actual router so it's nothing special. Just basic Dlink.

Even the cheapo ones work very well, my Grandad's Edimax cost him like £9 and it works a treat. No real need to spend loads of a USB Wi-Fi dongle it seems.

Ummm... how much room is there underneath your bed? It's probably best to sit up straight but it will still work fine on its side.

Ahh ok, the internet is really slow :S 2 bars and I can't even join a server on any game Is there any devices I could use too improve it, I've heard of something called tp-links :S

You could try moving your PC and/or router. If your router is sitting on the floor I'd suggest putting it on a table or as high up as possible, as Wi-Fi waves do not descend, they fall.
