anybody got any new ATI new arch release rumors or Nvidia.

Im looking to get a GPU, i was thinking of getting the 9800GX2, but power became an issue, so i decided on a 9800GTX. Then i said, wait, i need a better PSU anyways, so i went back to the idea of a GX2. Then i thought, wait ATI will bring out some killer card, and i will get an intel mobo to CF them

So please, tell me what youve heard about new releases, new arch's etc

I think there's a rumor going around about a 9900 GT/GTX/GTS or something from nvidia in June. Just a rumor though like you asked.
 
yeah i heard about the new Nvidia release in june.

They say it depends on what ATI brings out. If they bring out a killer, then thay release a new series, if not nvidia will keep the 98xx series.

any rumors on ATI?

See im waiting for te competition to come so i can get a 9800GX2 or new killer ATI card. When the comp comes, prices will drop

it apears ATI will release a HD4xxx series in june.

anything on this?

cause my dads going to usa in May.

Then again, a 9800GX2 costs $1030 here in South africa. Most GPUs are double the price.

The only thing that keeping me back from the 9800GX2 is my PSU. I will get a new one, but how will i explain it to my parents....

so i will most probly get the 9800GTX

how soon will it happen?
