vga vs dvi

is there a great difference between agp and pcx16 card? is there a quality difference between vga and dvi?

pcie is newer and faster than agp so yes there is a fairly big difference and I've heard that dvi produces better image quality or performance or something but I'm not sure.

Cards with both PCI-express and AGP interfase models performance similar, but agp is being phased out and not many new models are being released as agp (the newest being the x1950pro i believe). And DVI is better than VGA.

VGA is the older technology, and is the only connector besides 5-wire that works with CRT monitors. VGA is also an analog signal. DVI on the other hand is newer, and is a digital signal, and only works with LCD and Plasma monitors. DVI is generally a little better looking. VGA is getting phased out slowly, but most graphics cards still come with DVI to VGA adapters
