vibrate problem

hi all,

i have a CDRW writer and a DVD drive in my system but when i insert a disk into my bottom DVD drive and the drive read them they make my case vibrate quite loud lol.

what can i do to stop this please?

its only the one drive it does it

Maybe a bit of foam or sliver of rubber at any metal-to-metal contact points?

Get some rubber washers. It's rather hard to dampen a CD drive as there are no dampeners that can fit on it.

Make sure it's screwed into both sides of the drive rails.
If it's one of those "snap In" cases, those are hard to do, but try some foam like imsati suggested.

yes its one of those cases where you just slide them in and snap them into place with those plastic things on the side.

i might try and get hold of some rubber sheet or something ,Il have to have a look in my case and see what i could fit in there.
