Vid card problems

I have an Nvidia 6600LE, and I can't get the s-video working. I want to use it to watch movies/play games on the TV, and I had this to get it to work: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6834013400&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 and http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5842748326&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

The TV doesn't have s-video, so I got the adaptor for RCA's. I got it all, and there is no picture. I do have sound (got adaptor for that also) but no video. What's wrong?

the lead you linked to is an ATI one and they have a different pin config when compared to the Nvidia ones.
if you're using it as an example and you're using the one that came with the card you need to go into the nvidia control panel and configure it to detect your tv. its quite easy to do and i found self explanatory when i did it for the first time.
if you wanna play videos on your tv though make sure that you set the television as the primary display device as the video will only show up on the primary display

they are different because i had an nvidia card and a ATI card at one point and i kept getting the two leads muddled up and it took me a while to realise what the problem was
