1.Would it matter if the video card I am looking at is DDR3 and my computer RAM only supports DDR??
2.Seems that Gforce and ATI Radeon only install to the PCI slots, I always thought the new card would go into the AGP 8x slot... Whats the AGP slot for?
1)nope doesnt matter,I have DDR2 system memory and GDDR5 memory on my graphics card
2)You can get all sorts of Nvidia and Ati cards that are either Pci-AGP or Pci-e,Most newer cards tend to be Pci-e now been the latest slot.
Pci is ancient...then we had AGP,now Pci-e
Whats your current system specs?
If your considering buying a dedicated Graphics card you will want to check that your Power supply can handle the extra power demand that a dedicated card will require.
But you will need to see what slot your mobo has,if it has AGP,then you will need an AGP card,If ist Pci-e Then Pci-e it is
