So I just got my new Celeron D 356 ES CPU for overclocking and starting using it in my Asus P5PL2 motherboard. One change I noticed in the BIOS vs. my non-ES Pentium 4 520 is a new setting in the CPU Configuration called "VID CMOS setting." It can be set between 1 and 62. I've done some googling on it and still can't figure out what it does and how it affects the voltage. Does anyone here know?
