Video and Gaming issues ?

So I had my computer built by a friend about a year ago now. I don't really go to much for gaming or websites. Youtube, steam, and League of Legends is all I really do. Well randomly one day, about 2 weeks ago, my computer decided that loading youtube videos was the hardest task to do and that playing League was impossible because every time I go to use an ability on my character I would temporarily lag out, with no ping spikes and no lag on my Internets part. I have no idea what to really do anymore. It is super annoying. I can't even use Hulu really because it won't really buffer, and I have to pay for that shizz :mad:. Would anyone have any idea on maybe what is wrong and what I need to do to fix it? My buddy went through all the settings and drivers and everything is clean and updated, but it didn't even help in the slightest for my game or videos :/
 
Well, with youtube, you need updated flash player in order to view them. Are you running the lastest version? Other than that, your video card may be failing on you. What card and power supply do you have?
 
Well, the card doesn't require much power. The card still could be failing on you. You have another one to try?
 
My buddy said it might be my wireless and hes gonna bring up his stuff and see if it helps if not I guess Ill have to look into something for a new card :/

What case have you got, how many fans do you have and what is your cable management inside the case like? What cooler does the card have it on it? (is it reference or aftermarket?)

The video card is a lot harder to clean out then most of the other items that need cleaning in your computer, due to the heat sink shroud that most places use. The shroud does come off but not easily. Have you removed your graphics card and closely looked at the fins under the fan?
